Someone asked how to plot graph of the complex-valued map sqrt(1+z) with the domain being the unit disk using Mathematica (in this link) and my answer was you can use your understanding of the question and a piece of coding with Python and a plotting package (in my case matplotlib), the result of this simple idea is in the left (the detailed answer in this link).


More examples will come here soon when I get free time to edit this page. The next examples probably be about differential inclusions, random graphs etc.

Notes and files I shared with the students for the course "Solving Polynomial Equations"
 I wrote everything hurriedly and just like as when you have fun preparing for the class, so prepare yourself for a bunch of typos (misspell and grammar, not math -hopefully- ^_^). Since I'm too busy with plenty of questions and projects at the same time, I don't have time to re-read these notes and edit them.
 The style of exercise sessions is that I give exercises in a Maple worksheet file before the class to the students. We will solve them at the class in this way that first I will explain things that might be new for them and they will need, then they have a few minutes time for each exercise. I will walk through them and check progress of each student and guide them what they do wrong or how they should start thinking about the question. Finally I solve the exercise and then we move to the next one. So I have some at-class worksheet files too which I share them as well, and finally after-class files with the whole solutions. In case someone didn't get something at the class time or may forget some details, they can always review these files. Sometimes I have slides or written notes on paper too. My duty in this course is the first 10 exercise sessions and 2 theory sessions of the fifth week.

Note that the files for this page are uploaded on Google drive (the students get them on their course system), so when you click on a mw file you may see something weird, you must download mw files (after opening in Google drive) and then open with Maple software.
